WePort Medical Pharmacy
Effective Date: August 9, 2026

1. Overview
At WePort Medical Pharmacy, we are committed to patient safety, product quality, transparent pricing, and customer satisfaction.
This Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which prescription medications, compounded preparations, over-the-counter (OTC) products, and other pharmacy-related purchases may be returned, refunded, replaced, or canceled.
All returns and refunds are subject to applicable federal and state laws, pharmacy regulations, and patient safety requirements.
2. Prescription Medications
Due to patient safety, medication integrity, and regulatory requirements, prescription medications that have been dispensed and transferred to a patient generally cannot be returned for resale or restocking.
However, WePort Medical Pharmacy will review requests for refunds or replacements in circumstances including:
A dispensing error attributable to the pharmacy.
An incorrect medication, strength, quantity, or formulation supplied by the pharmacy.
A medication received damaged, defective, or otherwise unsuitable for its intended use.
A shipment lost or incorrectly delivered due to an error attributable to the pharmacy or its delivery provider.
Other circumstances where a refund, replacement, or corrective action is required by applicable law.
Refunds or replacements will be determined following a pharmacist's review of the circumstances.
Patients should not use medications suspected to be incorrect, damaged, or defective until they have consulted the pharmacy.
Returned prescription medications will not be placed back into dispensing inventory unless expressly permitted by applicable law and pharmacy procedures.
3. Compounded Medications
Compounded prescriptions are individually prepared for specific patient needs.
Because of their customized nature, compounded medications generally are not eligible for return or refund once preparation has begun or the medication has been dispensed.
Exceptions may be considered for verified pharmacy preparation errors, quality concerns, damaged products, or other circumstances required by law.
Any approved replacement or refund will be determined following a pharmacist's evaluation.
4. Over-the-Counter Products and Nonprescription Merchandise
Eligible unopened, unused, and undamaged nonprescription products may be returned within 14 calendar days of delivery or receipt, subject to pharmacy approval.
To qualify, products must:
Remain in their original packaging.
Have intact safety seals, where applicable.
Be accompanied by proof of purchase.
Be in a condition suitable for lawful resale.
Products that are opened, used, damaged after delivery, temperature-sensitive, or otherwise unsuitable for resale may not be eligible for return.
Defective or incorrectly supplied products will be reviewed separately, regardless of the general return eligibility requirements.
Products purchased through independent third-party storefronts may be subject to the applicable seller's return and refund policy.
5. Prescription Cancellations
Patients may request cancellation of a prescription before it has been dispensed or shipped.
Cancellation requests must be communicated directly to WePort Medical Pharmacy.
If a prescription has not been prepared, dispensed, or shipped, eligible payments may be refunded following review.
If preparation, compounding, dispensing, or shipment has already occurred, cancellation and refund eligibility will depend on the circumstances, applicable law, and any services already performed.
Patients are not charged cancellation penalties unless separately disclosed and legally permitted.
6. Shipping and Delivery Issues
WePort Medical Pharmacy takes reasonable measures to ensure that medications are properly packaged and delivered through authorized shipping or delivery services.
Patients should contact the pharmacy promptly if:
A shipment is missing or significantly delayed.
A package arrives damaged.
The wrong medication or product is received.
A temperature-sensitive medication may have been exposed to improper storage conditions.
A delivery was made to an incorrect address.
The pharmacy will investigate reported delivery problems and determine whether a replacement, refund, or other corrective action is appropriate.
Patients should report delivery concerns as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 48 hours of receipt. This requested reporting period does not eliminate any rights or remedies available under applicable law.
7. Insurance Claims and Patient Copayments
For prescriptions processed through insurance or pharmacy benefit plans, refunds and adjustments may require coordination with the applicable insurer or pharmacy benefit manager (PBM).
If a prescription claim is reversed, corrected, or adjusted, any corresponding patient payment adjustment will be handled in accordance with applicable insurance requirements and law.
WePort Medical Pharmacy does not guarantee reimbursement of insurance copayments when the underlying claim remains valid and the medication has been properly dispensed.
8. Payment Processing and Refund Methods
WePort Medical Pharmacy may accept payments through secure third-party payment processors, including Stripe.
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.
Refunds will normally be initiated within 5–10 business days after approval. Additional time may be required for the patient's bank or card issuer to post the funds.
Refund processing may be subject to verification, insurance claim adjustments, or other applicable requirements.
